Quetta, Sep. 12: The Balochistan Food Authority continued its special campaign against adulterated milk and yogurt, seizing 1,620 liters of contaminated milk and 350 kilograms of yogurt made from powdered milk on the second day of operations. Heavy fines were imposed on four milk suppliers and 12 shop owners. Samples of nearly 13,900 liters of milk were tested, confirming widespread adulteration with water and milk powder. Secretary Food Manzar Javed Ali said adulteration poses a serious threat to public health and vowed to expand the crackdown across the province.
