A protest demonstration was held in Tando Adam on Sunday against the FIR lodged against Sindh United Party (SUP) central leader Syed Zain Shah, with participants demanding its immediate withdrawal.

The rally, led by Comrade Muhammad Khan Panhwar, saw party workers and members of civil society marching to the Tando Adam Press Club, raising slogans in support of Mr. Shah.

Addressing the crowd, SUP leaders including Gul Hassan Lakho, Raja Malokhani, Imdad Chandio, Qayoom Panhwar, and Shafi Muhammad Saand condemned the FIR, calling it politically motivated and an attempt to silence voices advocating for Sindh’s rights.

The leaders emphasized that Mr. Shah has consistently opposed projects such as the construction of canals from the Indus River, and they warned that the lodged FIR would not weaken the ongoing struggle for Sindh. They further stated that if the FIR is not withdrawn immediately, the protest movement would escalate across the province.
