Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has lauded the performance of law enforcement agencies, including the Home Department, police, and Levies, for maintaining peace and security during the celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Defense Day.

 

– The Chief Minister appreciated the timely decision to temporarily suspend internet services and restrict rallies, which helped prevent any untoward incidents.
– He praised the Additional Chief Secretary Home, Hamza Shafqat, and the Inspector General of Police, Saeed Wazir, for closely monitoring the situation throughout the day.
– Deputy Commissioners and SSPs were also present on duty, keeping a close watch on the situation.
– The Chief Minister highlighted that the government had taken strict measures, learning from the bitter experience of the past when a blast had claimed over sixty lives during a gathering two years ago.
– Thanks to these effective measures, no untoward incident was reported across the province.
The Chief Minister appreciated the cooperation of Ulema and the public in maintaining law and order.
– He emphasized that their responsibility and cooperation played a crucial role in ensuring peace and security during the celebrations.
