Gwadar/Pasni Sep.06– On the occasion of Pakistan Defence Day, a dignified ceremony was held under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Maheem Khan Gichki, attended by tehsil officers and representatives from various sectors of society.
The event began with the national anthem, followed by the hoisting of the national flag by the Assistant Commissioner. The atmosphere resonated with patriotic slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Fauj Zindabad,” as participants paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.
Addressing the gathering, Assistant Commissioner Maheem Khan Gichki stated that 6th September is a golden day in Pakistan’s history, teaching lessons of unity, sacrifice, and selfless love for the nation. He emphasized that the martyrs of Pakistan’s defence are a source of national pride and their everlasting sacrifices will always be remembered. The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and the security of the country.
