Shangla, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – September 6, 2025: On the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam visited Shangla to distribute flood relief cheques to families of the 36 victims of recent floods.
Minister Muqam said the government will support flood-affected communities, adding, “This effort transcends politics; we serve the people for the pleasure of Allah.” He confirmed that electricity, roads, and essential supplies like ration, tents, blankets, and medicines are being restored and distributed.
The federal minister emphasized that rehabilitation efforts will continue until all victims are fully assisted. He praised the Pakistani Army, federal agencies, and local citizens for their active role in relief operations. Minister Muqam also highlighted coordination with the provincial government to ensure no affected family is left behind.
