SPECIAL REPORT.
Duki, Sep. 6, Deputy Commissioner Duki, Muhammad Naeem Khan, along with Assistant Commissioner Dr. Abdus Salam and Deputy Tehsildar Bilal Ahmed, conducted a detailed inspection of the Sharghali Shaghri and Tora Derei areas, which are home to valuable archaeological sites dating back 4,000–5,000 years.

These sites represent a glorious chapter of ancient civilizations and human history, holding immense cultural and historical significance not only for Duki but for Pakistan and the world.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner declared these sites as national cultural heritage and emphasized that no one is allowed to damage or tamper with them. He underlined that their protection and promotion is a collective responsibility, ensuring future generations remain aware of their historical legacy.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Khan directed the relevant departments to take immediate measures to safeguard the sites and prohibited any illegal excavations or encroachments in the surrounding areas. He also appealed to local communities to cooperate with the district administration to help preserve these invaluable sites.

Furthermore, he stated that the Archaeology Department will be formally informed about these locations to ensure they are officially recognized as part of Pakistan’s national heritage.
