Islamabad (Press Release) — On the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, Islamabad Police made special security and traffic arrangements for the main procession. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited the central procession and reviewed the security and traffic measures. He commended all officers for ensuring excellent arrangements.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (R) Hamza Humayun personally supervised the arrangements from the beginning till the end of the procession. He stated that minimum diversions were placed on main roads to facilitate the public and ensure smooth traffic flow.
The CTO added that relevant officers were continuously directed to keep traffic moving so that citizens faced no inconvenience. He reaffirmed that Islamabad Traffic Police remains committed to providing maximum travel convenience to the citizens.
Captain (R) Hamza Humayun also thanked the public for their cooperation with the traffic police during the procession.
