Quetta, Sep. 6 — Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Committee member and Member of the Provincial Assembly, Haji Ali Madad Jatak, in his message on Defence Day, said that September 6 marks a golden chapter in the nation’s history when the armed forces and the people of Pakistan foiled enemy designs and set new examples of courage and sacrifice in the defence of the motherland.
He stated that it is due to the sacrifices of the martyrs and ghazis that today the people of Pakistan breathe freely under an independent sky. “The entire nation is proud of these great sacrifices, and Defence Day is a reminder of our pledge that we stand ready to offer every sacrifice for the defence and stability of our beloved homeland,” he added.
Haji Ali Madad Jatak emphasized that the services of the Pakistan Armed Forces for the development, prosperity, and peace of the country are unforgettable. He urged the people to always honor the families of martyrs and remember the services of the ghazis in their prayers.
Reaffirming PPP’s commitment, he said the party has always played, and will continue to play, its role for national security and unity. On this occasion, he appealed to the nation to promote the spirit of unity, sacrifice, and selflessness in order to build Pakistan into a strong and prosperous country.
