Karachi, September 4, 2025 : A man was shot dead during a mobile phone robbery in Orangi Town Sector 11-E, Karachi, after he resisted. Security camera footage captured the incident, showing armed suspects opening fire on the victim as he resisted. Law enforcement agencies have obtained the video and initiated a murder investigation, spreading fear among local residents.
In a separate incident in Orangi Town’s “Number Eight” area, three individuals, including a woman, were shot. A man shot his wife and her brother after they intervened in a domestic dispute. The two injured individuals, identified as Asif and Shakeel, were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Authorities have arrested the accused.
Elsewhere in Karachi, a clash occurred with police near Ghora Chowrangi in Jamshed Quarters. During the exchange of fire, a motorcycle thief was injured and taken into custody. Another accomplice was also apprehended, while a third suspect managed to escape. Weapons and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the scene. The injured suspect has been identified as Shaman, and the arrested suspect is identified as Nazir Ahmed.
In a separate and unrelated incident, a woman died from poisoning in Azam Basti, Street Number 4.
