Assistant Commissioner Sibi, Mansoor Ali Shah, conducted a field visit on the third day of the ongoing polio campaign, reviewing the performance of polio teams in various areas of Sibi. Dr. Ehsanullah, representative of the World Health Organization (WHO), accompanied him on the visit.
During the visit, Shah inspected homes, verifying with parents and checking the marked hands of children to ensure they had received polio drops. He also visited the support center of a polio team on Loni Road, gathering details from the staff.
Shah and Dr. Ehsanullah visited the railway station, administering polio drops to children on an incoming train and assessing the teams’ performance.
– Strict Directives: Emphasizing the importance of the campaign, Shah issued strict instructions to ensure no child is left without polio vaccination, urging parents to cooperate fully with the teams.
This campaign aims to vaccinate millions of children across Pakistan, particularly in high-risk districts, to combat the poliovirus. In Sibi, the administration has been working diligently to ensure the campaign’s success, with Deputy Commissioner Major (R) Ilyas Kabzai previously highlighting the importance of meticulous planning and execution .
