The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) North Region held an operational and performance meeting, chaired by Additional Inspector General Muhammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan. The meeting was attended by zonal commanders of N-5 North and Motorway North Zone, along with sector commanders.

During the meeting, zonal commanders presented comprehensive reports on operational activities, key performance indicators, and strategic challenges. The Additional IG commended the commanders for their outstanding operational results and effective management.

To enhance service delivery and public trust, the Additional IG issued directives to cultivate a positive public perception of the NHMP through professional and courteous engagement with commuters. The directives also emphasized the need for prompt and compassionate assistance to distressed road users, intensified public awareness efforts on road safety practices, and enhanced monitoring and enforcement against lane violations and overspeeding.

A special emphasis was placed on Axle Load Compliance Regulations (ALCR), with a policy of zero tolerance directed to overcome issues related to overweight vehicles and preserve road infrastructure. The meeting concluded with a reaffirmed commitment to excellence, and all personnel were directed to implement the directives diligently to ensure the NHMP North Region continues to serve with utmost efficiency and integrity.
