Tianjin, China, 1 Sep 2025 : Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif joined other regional leaders for the 25th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin, China.
Upon arrival at the Meijiang Convention Center, he was greeted by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The assembled leaders then participated in a group photograph before the summit commenced. Mr. Sharif is scheduled to address both the SCO and SCO Plus meetings. He will also engage in bilateral discussions with various heads of state.
Following the summit, the Prime Minister will travel to Beijing to participate in China’s Victory Day commemorations.
