Naushahro Feroze, September 1, 2025 – Two young men allegedly committed suicide in two separate incidents in Naushahro Feroze. Both incidents occurred within the jurisdiction of the Phul Police Station and involved the use of a poisonous substance commonly used for wheat preservation.
Fifteen-year-old Rehan Ali Umerani, son of Zulfiqar Umerani, was the first victim. Shortly afterward, Asad Mallah, son of Manak Mallah, also succumbed to the same poison.
Phul law enforcement officials handed over the bodies to the bereaved families after completing the necessary legal procedures. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the deaths are ongoing.
