Deputy Speaker of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, Saadia Danish, has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the tragic accident of Army Aviation helicopter MI-17 in Thor’s Hudar area. She described the martyrdom of two pilots and three technical staff members in this unfortunate incident as a national tragedy.
Paying tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs, the Deputy Speaker said that the defenders of the country have become immortal in history by sacrificing their lives. Their bravery and services will always be remembered.
Expressing heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families, Saadia Danish said that in this difficult time, we stand with them and pray that Almighty Allah may elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant patience to their families.
The Deputy Speaker further said that the entire nation pays tribute to its martyrs who do not hesitate in making any sacrifice for the safety, unity, and defense of their beloved country.
