Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi visited Dera Ismail Khan to inspect a free medical camp organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent Society (KP Red Crescent) in suburban Koccar area.
During the visit, the governor was briefed on the camp’s services, including free health check-ups, provision of medicines, and medical treatment for local residents.
Governor Kundi instructed the KP Red Crescent to also set up free medical camps in flood-affected rural areas, including Parkachi, ensuring that flood victims receive all necessary medicines and healthcare services.
He highlighted that dengue and other diseases have become major challenges after the floods. The governor emphasized that the KP Red Crescent must provide comprehensive rehabilitation and resettlement services for flood-affected communities, adding that the welfare of flood victims remains the government’s top priority.
