Sibi, Sep. 13: Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major (R) Ilyas Kabzai, has intensified security on national highways to safeguard lives and property and to strengthen law and order.
In line with his directives, Assistant Commissioner Bakhtiarabad, Mir Bahadur Khan Bangulzai, conducted surprise snap-checking on National Highway N-65.
The Deputy Commissioner said that such sudden checks aim to curb criminal elements, illegal activities, and anti-social practices. He added that strict monitoring is also underway at entry and exit points, warning that stern and indiscriminate action will be taken against those involved in arms smuggling, narcotics, or other unlawful transport.
He urged citizens to fully cooperate with the administration and security forces to ensure lasting peace in the region.
