Karachi, September 13, 2025 : Tariq Mahmood Madani, leader of the Pakistan Peace Council, has declared that adopting the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is essential for the revival of the Islamic world. He emphasized that adhering to religious principles is the key to overcoming current challenges. Speaking after Friday prayers and at a separate event at Al-Madani Quran Academy regarding the life of the Prophet (PBUH), Madani highlighted Pakistan’s unique status as the second state founded on Islamic principles after Medina. He emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s constitution, which includes the finality of prophethood as a fundamental characteristic of a Muslim. He clarified that this clause clearly states that believing in Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the last prophet is a prerequisite for being a Muslim. Madani added that the parliamentary resolution and amendment regarding the finality of prophethood were achieved after extensive efforts. He pledged to defend this constitutional clause against any attempts to weaken it.
