ISLAMABAD, Sept 13,: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security, Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, convened a meeting on Saturday to address the concerns of police officers and staff.
The open forum, held at the DIG’s office on the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, was aimed at ensuring the swift resolution of staff-related issues. Participants from the Security Division highlighted their problems and grievances during the session.
DIG Tahir ordered inquiries into serious complaints and directed officials to resolve other matters on a priority basis. Stressing the importance of officers’ welfare, he pointed to recent progress in housing, healthcare services, and educational opportunities for the force.
He assured personnel of his accessibility and emphasized that such forums were not only intended to address issues but also to boost morale across the department.
