Quetta, September 11, 2025 —
The 95th Academic Council meeting of the University of Balochistan was held at the Syndicate Hall under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Bazai. The meeting was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ghulam Razaq Shahwani, Additional Secretary Colleges, Higher & Technical Education, Government of Balochistan, Mr. Jehanzaib Mandokhail, Registrar Muhammad Tariq Jogezai, Deans, Directors, Principals, Heads of Departments, Controller of Examinations, and other members of the Academic Council.
In his remarks, Vice Chancellor Dr. Bazai emphasized three key points: good governance, effective implementation of decisions, and academic and administrative improvements. He underlined that transparency, consultation, and result-oriented actions are crucial for the university’s progress.
Dr. Bazai urged all departments to work collectively to ensure student welfare, quality education, and timely completion of degrees. The meeting deliberated on important academic and administrative matters, including curriculum revisions, departmental performance, student issues, admission policies, examinations, scholars’ cases, and the approval of new AI-related courses.
