Doha/Islamabad – Sept 11, 2025 (Askar International Report):
An Israeli airstrike on Doha has triggered a wave of outrage across the Muslim world. The strike killed at least six people, including Hamas aides and a Qatari security officer, though Hamas’s top leadership survived.

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani condemned the strike as a “criminal and reckless act,” while Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani described it as “state terrorism.”

On Thursday, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha and assured full solidarity with Qatar. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also landed in Doha the same day, holding urgent talks with the Qatari Emir. UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein had already arrived earlier in the week.

Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE condemned the violation of Qatar’s sovereignty. The UN Secretary-General and UK Prime Minister also criticized the strike as unlawful and dangerous.

Analysts warn that the attack undermines Qatar’s mediation role, but the arrival of key Muslim leaders—Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Jordan—shows Doha is emerging as a central hub for regional diplomacy.
