Islamabad, Sep. 11: Minister of State for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik, met members of the Pakistani diaspora in Kampala, Uganda, at a reception hosted by the High Commissioner of Pakistan. The community, largely involved in car imports, sales, and pharmaceuticals, apprised the Minister of the growing business opportunities in Uganda and highlighted the travel difficulties they face while flying from smaller airports in Pakistan.

The Minister assured that their concerns would be addressed within the ambit of law and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating overseas Pakistanis. Appreciating the diaspora’s valuable role in promoting trade and strengthening bilateral ties, Barrister Aqeel Malik said that overseas Pakistanis remain an important pillar of Pakistan’s economic growth and global engagement.
