Gwadar, September 11, 2025 —
Following recent rains, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Dr. Abdul Shakoor visited the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) warehouse to inspect relief supplies provided by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
Warehouse in-charge, Shehaq Baloch, briefed the ADC on available stock across the district. During the inspection, Dr. Shakoor reviewed tents, blankets, water coolers, gas cylinders, mats, pillows, water storage cans, tanks, life jackets, and other non-food essential items.
The ADC directed that a proper inventory of all supplies be maintained and safeguarded against any damage. He stressed that staff must remain on high alert to ensure immediate relief in case of emergencies such as heavy rains or floods.
