Thatta, Sep. 8, The Thatta Police have suspended a police officer after a video showing him allegedly misbehaving with a citizen and slapping them went viral on social media last week.
The SSP Thatta, Farooq Ahmed Bijarani, took strict notice of the incident and directed the SDPO Thatta to conduct a thorough inquiry. The investigation found the officer, Ghulam Farid Jakhro, guilty of misconduct. Acting on the SSP’s orders, the officer has been suspended with immediate effect.
The SSP emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the top priority of the police, and strict action will be taken against anyone violating this trust.
