Provincial Livestock Minister Mir Faisal Khan Jamali, accompanied by Mir Usman Khan Jamali and Mir Zarar Nasser Khan Jamali, visited the Sukkur Barrage to assess the potential flood situation.
During the visit, Sukkur Barrage Engineer Zahid Hussain Mughal briefed the minister, reporting that approximately 500,000 cusecs of water from Punjab had entered the Sukkur Barrage. He added that all necessary preparations had been completed under the directives of the Sindh government to effectively manage any emergency.
Minister Mir Faisal Khan Jamali emphasized the fraternal relations between Sindh and Balochistan, assuring full cooperation. He prayed for the protection of the people of Sindh, Balochistan, and the entire country from natural disasters.
The visit was also attended by Executive Engineer Kirthar Canal Ghulam Mustafa Chandio, Mohammad Bachal Soomro, and registered press club correspondent Usta Muhammad.
