Pakistan has faced significant losses due to heavy rains and flooding, with livestock and crops being destroyed, and relief operations are ongoing in affected areas. These remarks were made by Sahibzada Allama Bilal Abbas Qadri, Central President of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, who also highlighted the forecast by the Meteorological Department predicting rains in Sindh until September 11.

He urged the Sindh government to take proactive measures to protect citizens from hardships. According to the forecast, Larkana may experience widespread moderate to heavy rainfall, while Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tharparkar, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Hyderabad, and Karachi could face urban flooding and water accumulation in low-lying areas. Strong winds, thunderstorms, and lightning may disrupt daily routines.

Bilal Abbas Qadri further mentioned that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh regions may also experience rainfall, with potential landslides in hilly areas. Rain is also expected in parts of Islamabad, Punjab, and Balochistan.

Volunteers from Ahle Sunnat Khidmat Foundation are actively participating in emergency response efforts, assisting communities affected by heavy rains and floods. He urged all provincial governments and relevant departments to implement preventive measures immediately to minimize human and financial losses and ensure public safety.
