Quetta (Press Release): At the central secretariat of the National Party, central president Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, central secretary general Mir Kabir Ahmed Muhammad Shahi, Senator Jan Muhammad Biledi, central vice president Dr. Ishaq Baloch, provincial president Aslam Baloch, BSO Bohr chairman, senior PA Kalsoom Niaz Baloch, party leader Miran Bakhsh Baloch, central research secretary Sadiq Khateran, Fida Biledi, Gehram Baloch, Abdul Razaq Pandarani, Mashkoor Baloch, Sindh youth secretary Mukhtiar Baloch, Dr. Ramzan Hazara, Dr. Tariq Baloch, and Salma Qureshi thanked the people of Balochistan and all walks of life for fully supporting the successful shutdown and “Peh Jaam” strike across the province.
They stated that the overwhelming participation of the public in response to the party’s call demonstrates that political processes cannot be suppressed through state oppression.
Central President Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and Secretary General Mir Kabir Ahmed Muhammad Shahi said today’s successful strike sends a clear message to the rulers: do not trample on basic rights guaranteed to the people. They warned that the government should learn from history; the long and oppressive regimes of Ayub Khan and Zia-ul-Haq could not stop political processes or political parties. History clearly shows that fascism and colonialism cannot suppress the power of the people.
The leaders emphasized that the state functions through public welfare and the protection of citizens’ rights.
