Thatta, Sep 7, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Thatta, Farooq Ahmed Bajrani, convened a high-level meeting with all police officers of Thatta Sub-Division, including SDPOs, SHOs, and police post in-charges, to strengthen law enforcement measures against active criminals and narcotics dealers.
During the meeting, SSP Thatta issued strict instructions to ensure swift action against criminal elements, enhance the speed of information reporting, and guarantee the arrest of active offenders.
He emphasized the need for snap checking on all link roads in Thatta and Makli, establishment of security checkpoints, and thorough screening of suspicious individuals using inspection devices.
SSP Thatta directed SDPO Thatta to personally oversee operations against criminals and narcotics traffickers in their respective areas. He ordered a district-wide crackdown on narcotics dealers, including those involved in the sale of ice/crystal drugs, and instructed law enforcement to apprehend all suspects involved in illegal drug trade.
Special attention will also be given to apprehending drug dealers operating near educational institutions, towns, and villages. Registered cases will be pursued rigorously, ensuring that suspects are tried and punished based on solid evidence in relevant courts.
“Protecting the lives and property of citizens is our top priority. Any negligence will not be tolerated, and officers found involved in criminal or narcotics activities will face strict departmental action,” SSP Thatta affirmed.
