Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has lauded the people of the province for their exemplary cooperation in ensuring peaceful and secure celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.

“The peaceful gatherings across Balochistan have sent a positive message to the world, demonstrating that the province is on the path of peace and development,” the Chief Minister said.

He praised the collaboration of religious scholars and the responsible conduct of citizens, calling it commendable. Law enforcement agencies, including the Interior Department, Police, Levies, Frontier Corps, and other security institutions, were recognized for their outstanding performance during the events.

The Chief Minister emphasized that temporary internet restrictions and limitations on rallies were timely and prudent decisions. “The internet is never more important than human lives. Protecting the lives and property of our citizens remains our top priority,” he said.

Thanks to effective security measures, no untoward incidents occurred across the province during the festivities. Reflecting on past tragedies, including the deadly blast at a gathering two years ago that claimed over sixty lives, CM Bugti noted that this year’s strict and proactive measures ensured safety.

He further highlighted the active participation of youth and citizens, which reinforced unity and solidarity across Balochistan.
