TURBAT, Sep. 6,: On the occasion of Pakistan Defence Day, a solemn ceremony was held at the Levies Line in Turbat to honor the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs. The event was organized under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Kech, Bashir Ahmed Barriach, and supervised by Assistant Commissioner Turbat, Muhammad Jan Baloch.

During the ceremony, Levies Force officers and personnel laid floral wreaths, lit candles, and paid homage to the brave men who laid down their lives for the country. Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Jan Baloch highlighted that Defence Day serves as a reminder of the selfless sacrifices made by patriots to safeguard the sovereignty and security of Pakistan.

He emphasized that the valor of the Pakistan Army, Levies Force, and other security agencies will always be remembered. The AC further urged Levies personnel to maintain unity within their ranks and carry out their duties with dedication and integrity, prioritizing the protection of citizens’ lives and property.

The ceremony concluded with a collective recitation of Fatiha in honor of the martyrs. A large number of Levies Force members, district administration representatives, and officers participated in the event, reaffirming their commitment to the nation’s defense and public service
