Karachi, September 4, 2025 : Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh leader Kashif Saeed Sheikh strongly condemned the suicide bomb attack targeting a Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) political gathering in Quetta. He demanded that authorities ensure the safety and security of the public in the province.
In a statement, Sheikh emphasized that the government’s primary duty is to protect its citizens, including political figures and assemblies. He attributed the current wave of terrorism in the country, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, to enemy conspiracies and government failure. The attack on Akhtar Mengal’s rally, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives, is a grave act of terrorism.
