ANF Crackdown Against Drug Traffickers
ANF conducted *9* operations, arrested *12* accused including *1* Foreign National & *4* women around Educational Institutions & various cities across the country, & recovered *187.500 kgs* of drugs worth more than 3 crore 33 lac PKR
*Educational Institutions Drug Interdiction*
1. Near a university in Manawala, Faisalabad, *1.5 kgs* of *hashish* recovered from an accused
2. Near Lehtrar Road, Islamabad, *214 grams* of *hashish* recovered from an individual
* The arrested suspects confessed selling drugs to students of educational institutions
*Inter-provincial Drug Interdiction*
1. Near Motorway Toll Plaza, Islamabad, *66 grams* of *cocaine* recovered from a Zambian national, accused arrested
2. Near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, Attock, *3.600 kgs* of *hashish* recovered from the possession of 2 female passengers
*Domestic Drug Interdiction*
1. Near Pena Mashkhel, *150 kgs* of *opium* recovered, hidden in a vehicle’s concealed in fuel tank
2. Near Satrah Bazar, Sialkot, *12 kgs* of *opium* & *18 kgs* of *hashish* seized from a motorcycle & a Rickshaw, 2 accused arrested
3. Near a dry port road, Sialkot, *1.300 kg* of *hashish* confiscated from a motorcyclist including one woman
4. Near a bus terminal, Sialkot, *1.200 kg* of *hashish* recovered from a motorcyclist & a woman
5. On gulberg road, Peshawar, *60 ecstasy pills* seized from a motorcyclist
