The newborn baby who was kidnapped from Lahore General Hospital was recovered due to the timely action and expertise of the police and was handed over to his mother in moments filled with joy and emotions. On this occasion, Principal Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI)/Amiruddin Medical College (AMC) and Lahore General Hospital (LGH) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooq Afzal and MS LGH Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain appreciated the efforts of the police officials and said that the police rescued the newborn baby safely with great diligence and hard work, which is a testament to their professional skills and public service.

 

Prof. Farooq Afzal further said that LGH administration will give certificates of appreciation to the police officials who rescued the newborn so that they can be encouraged and face such challenges in the future with full enthusiasm. He further said that the safe return of the newborn baby to his parents is a great achievement and this was possible with the excellent cooperation of the police and administration.

 

On this occasion, the mother expressed her happiness and satisfaction while holding her newborn baby to her chest and thanked LGH administration and police officials. The family said that this moment was one of the happiest moments of their lives.
