Islamabad, 1 Sep 2025 : Islamabad Police has heightened security measures in the High Security Zone (HSZ) under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Security Capt. (retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider. Officers are actively working to safeguard embassies, diplomatic residences, United Nations facilities, and key government buildings within the Diplomatic Enclave.
SSP Haider stressed the critical nature of protecting government and private offices, along with foreign missions in the HSZ. He directed officers to exercise utmost vigilance, ensuring meticulous registration and thorough checks of vehicles entering the secure area.
All government personnel have been advised to carry identification and cooperate with law enforcement during security procedures. The Islamabad Capital Territory Police is fully committed to utilizing all resources to uphold law and order in the capital.
