Islamabad, 1 Sep 2025  : Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq conducted an open court at his office to address public complaints and issued immediate orders for their resolution.

During the proceedings, DIG Tariq highlighted the availability of the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” for registering grievances. He explained that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed senior officers to hold open courts throughout the district.

Following these instructions, zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are also holding open courts in their areas to ensure public concerns are heard and addressed.

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police force is committed to public engagement and effective problem-solving, he affirmed. All residents are encouraged to voice their concerns at these forums. Addressing public grievances is the top priority for the ICT police.
