Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) On the special directives of Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan, Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi, a Khuli Katchery (Open Court) was organized in Tando Adam under the supervision of Engr. Muhammad Arif, Incharge of the Regional Office, Mirpurkhas.

Citizens raised complaints against several federal departments including HESCO, Sui Southern Gas, NADRA, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), and Pakistan Railways. A number of issues were resolved on the spot, while in some cases, officials and complainants were summoned to the office for further proceedings.

Speaking to the media, Engr. Muhammad Arif stated that the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat is actively working to resolve public issues promptly and that citizens can submit their complaints free of charge on plain paper without any legal formalities. He further informed that approximately 3,000 complaints have been received at regional office so far this year, marking a 26% increase compared to last year.

The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam, Hunain Tariq Shahani, HESCO Officer Asif Ali Channa, SSGC Incharge Syed Hubdar Ali Shah, DSP Abdul Sattar Gurgej, NADRA Incharge Shahid Hussain Halepoto, BISP Assistant Director Faisal Gujar, Mukhtiarkar Raham Ali Zardari, Vice Chairman Municipal Committee Malik Zulfiqar and Ashiq Hussain Saand from the Associated Press of Pakistan, among others. A large number of local citizens were also present.
