KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, inaugurated the “Exclusive Mango Festival” on Thursday.

The vibrant event was organized by the Foreign Affairs Liaison Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Karachi, in collaboration with the Marriott Hotel.

A large number of dignitaries, including diplomats from various countries, consuls general, and members of the international community, Business and media attended the festival to celebrate Pakistan’s world-renowned mangoes.

Highlighting Pakistan’s rich mango heritage, Director General MOFA Irfan Soomro led a ceremonial mango-cutting session alongside foreign diplomats and notable guests.
The event aimed to promote the export and global recognition of Pakistani mangoes, which are known for their distinctive flavor, aroma, and quality.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Tessori appreciated the efforts of MOFA and Karachi Marriott Hotel in showcasing Pakistan’s agricultural excellence.
He noted that the country boasts over 200 varieties of mangoes, which are exported globally and are considered among the best due to their superior taste and nutritional value.

The festival not only served as a diplomatic and cultural gathering but also reinforced Pakistan’s potential in the global fruit export market.
